Super Paper Mario control configuration

I'm playing Super Paper Mario with a PS4 controller and I got the control settings to my best convenience.  However, I have a few problems with the pointer and configuring the buttons to shake like a Wii remote.  The pointer with Tippi's find and tattle abilities won't go away unless I hold other buttons down and I don't want to keep my hands on a certain button while I'm using my hands are using other buttons.  What settings can I set it to to keep the pointer away until I need it?

Right-click on the button you have mapped to Hide IR and use the NOT function in the window that pops up. That way, Tippi will only be activated while you're holding the button down, instead of only being activated when you aren't holding the button down.
