If this isn't enough, right click the game on the emulator menu, go to properties, and select "fix item hang" in the patches submenu.
Avoid the second option if possible, it can cause you to lose sound permanently after you disable it (I have no idea why).
The built in Zelda ucode should work fine for WW, but I've only used a real dump.
Thanks, LLE worked, but it's too slow. So I guess I gotta use LLE to get passed the freezing points huh.
@HawaiianPunch I can confirm that using the "fix item hang" patch does kill the audio completely.
