Are you using a controller with analog triggers or a button/keyboard?

I am having the same issue with Super Mario Sunshine, I have a Nvidia Shield controller as well as a PS4 controller both are acting like xbox controllers.  Every time I press the right trigger, no activity till I get all the way pressed then locked into place.  I have tried lots of different places online to see what setup it should be but no success.  I have included my controller config.  Any help would be fantastic.

Your L/R analog and trigger should be the same button, not different for each.

Thanks so much, that fixed the issue.  Had to adjust the trigger sensitivity as i could full run around with fully depressed but fixed that by setting it to 75 instead of 90.
