The problem is likely to be that you've enabled Real XFB (or maybe disabled Scaled EFB Copies).

I tried to download this texture pack yesterday but was very confused by the OP and finally (at least I think) I found the latest version to download and tried to run it. I noticed there were a lot of unnecessary mipmaps and Dolphin even couldn't load it after 5 GB it stopped, and I had free RAM (I was watching it in real-time). So I need some help either with the pack (which and what to use) or how to prevent Dolphin from failing to load the textures. All I want is the default original HD textures all in one folder, so tell me please how do I get the latest version of everything and make sure I'm not missing something.

I have spent about 3 hours trying to install this texture pack. The first time i tried to install the pack I downloaded the main pack download which is 900 something megabytes. I extracted it and out it into the texture folder. I made sure my textures were put to safe and I checked the use custom texture box. I make sure my texture folder is named GMSE01 too. I boot the game but none of the textures change. I also tried renaming all of the textures from "txt1" to "GMSE01" because I saw someone post about doing that as well. It didn't work either. I'm so lost and i just want to play SMSS like I've never seen it before. I wish there was a tutorial for dumb asses like myself to install this texture pack. I'm currently gonna head off to bed because I've accepted defeat for the night.

Can anyone help me please?

A few points:
- Use Dolphin v5.0 or newer. Development versions are way beyond 5.0: https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
- The texture folder can simply be named GMS.
- Renaming the textures will break everything as the last texture format has completely different hashes than the current one.

Hi, I have used this pack for a while and I usually can't play for a long period of time due to random crashing. I am using Ishiruka 1034, 60 fps hack, everything runs smoothly but its just the random crashing. Help?

Ishiiruka is known to be unstable. If Dolphin is not crashing but Ishiiruka is you may have to alert Tino.
