It's not perfect , but better than nothing ? x)

If anyone can name it for the "all language" pack (actually it's a EU texture) and convert it to DDS, it will be great ^^

A little screenshot

I've added this to my pack - download here (both PNG and DDS).

Also made the white letters that appear before the Super Mario Sunshine logo invisible for EU, to match the NA version, and for French players like you, a new addition is the intro splash (Nintendo présente) Wink

EDIT: PRESS START! for EU added.

Can't export it in DDS files with Gimp, is Photoshop the only one to make it ?
And same as the M, french texture name to convert ^^

You can use Bighead's custom texture tool to convert your textures to DDS.  It's super easy to use and now even has a GUI.

Hijacking this post a bit... for science. So i've been rly busy irl for the past years. I still am, generally, but for the next 2 months imma have some time to spare so i'll try and release some dormant packs (started them back in 2012) i have, but they are only HUDs and some particles, no ingame textures. Need to dump them for this new format.

Super Mario Sunshine Im going to re-release the pack in PNG format, fixing some textures and adding the missing fonts (coz im sure i have them). I might also release some ingame textures from back in 2012

Rayman 3 HUD and some particles. There are 2 mods available using the best textures from the PC and X360 versions already but my HUD will be 8x the original size and as close as possible to the original so playing it at 6-8x ir should be extremely satisfying. Shame on Ubi for the hack job on Rayman 3 HD with the cheap HUD upscaling.

Starfox Adventures Font and prob some basic HUD elements

Metroid Prime Trilogy HUD Back in 2002 i finished the font and the HUD for MP1 & MP2 but since MP1 & MP2 have a different HUD in the trilogy release so i would need someone's help dumping the HUD for all 3 games in the trilogy.

It's great to hear you will be back at it.  While revising the SMS pack, you may want to look at Filipianosol's additions and repacking.  He has collected additional contributions from others and I believe also added some textures of his own.  It is also in the new naming format.

Im working on both Rayman 3 and SMSS at the same time. I've also noticed that new tool that converts Glide64 textures into Dolphin ones so i can use it to convert my Super Paper Mario project from the old Dolphin format into the new one as well. So it will prob take me a while to release something (a week or a month, depends if im gonna start playing SPM right now or work on Rayman 3 and Mario Sunshine).

I believe Dolphin has already built-in support for converting the old texture format to the new texture format which was introduced since v4.0-5234. You should navigate to your Dolphin config folder (default: C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Dolphin\Emulator\Config) and open the file GFX.ini. There you have to find the setting ConvertHiresTextures and set the value to True. The ConvertHiresTextures is found at the [Hardware] tag within the GFX.ini file.

During gameplay, Dolphin will automatically convert any textures from the texture format pre-v4.0-5234 to the new tex format, removing any duplicates in the process. I believe that function is still left intact within Dolphin, if it got removed you should temporary used an older version of Dolphin (but still after v4.0-5234). Last time I checked, I would not recommend Vulkan to do so, since it could not dump textures (I believe this got fixed recently)?

The old format looks like for example: GAMEID_12345678_1.png
The new format looks like for example: tex_1_32x32_1234567890abcdef_1.png
This thread contains more information on the new tex format: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-dolphin-custom-textures-info.

You do not need the Glide64 convert tool (you mean with Glide64 the tool found at https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-release-unofficial-tool-to-convert-glide64-and-dolphin-textures-automatically, right?), because Dolphin never used the Glide64 (which is actually the rice plugin format) in the first place. Besides you still need to dump the textures in the new format and old format so that the tool compares it and can rename the hires textures into the new format. Just playing through Dolphin with the ConvertHiresTextures is a lot easier, just play the game Smile. Keep in mind to keep switching the texture cache accuracy setting a few times in order to get all the textures. Once a texture is converted it is accessible on every texture cache accuracy setting.

Ohh and... I hope you are not mad I ported your work on Super Mario 64 for Project64 to Dolphin Confused? Honestly, it is the best texture pack available for Super Mario 64. I prefered your textures above the other available packs, which were mostly used to fill out the blank parts. If you rather see the project differently, I am all yours. All the textures available in the game have already been categorised and converted to the new Dolphin tex format, so replacing a texture will be definitely a lot easier.

Now that u mentioned it, I remember reading about that feature at some point but totally forgot about it.

I'm not mad at all, actually, i'm glad about the sm64 port, i think i saw it sometimes in the summer, when i was really busy, so i didn't leave any feedback. I might release some new files for the SM64 project. I also wanted to retexture all the backgrounds for it but it took forever to map those sky boxes. Actually i think i have 2 skyboxes i never released because i didin't map them, not sure, must check the backup.

I don't mind people using textures (esp fonts or HUD elements) i've released for their own projects.

Actually i wish ppl would continue retexturing Super Paper Mario, after TTYD is done. Especially since lots of textures are shared between the 2 games, so all you have to do is take them from TTYD and recolor them if necessary.
