Hey Guys!
I searched everywhere for help, but nobody seems to have a similar problem. So i thought i'd post it here and hope for some help.
I just can't seem to play Super Mario Sunshine without it randomly freezing on me. It can happen after 2 minutes... or can run up to a hour. It's absolutely unpredictable. The freezing occurs without a warning (although panic handlers are enabled) and just goes into a endless soundloop. The only way to stop the "freeze" is to do the magical alt+f4 and terminate the process or just randomly click on the main window of dolphin (windows notices that its not respondig and gives me an option to terminate).
I run it mostly on one of the newer revisions (right now 6108 - although other revisions seem to produce the same freeze effect on the game)
At first i thought it was one of the plugins so i installed the latest DirectX Runtime and the problem persisted.
After changing around the settings in almost every constellation i could think of (mind you, i'm using the DirectX 9 Plugin) it still froze no matter what.
The OpenGL Plugin gave the same problem...
Then i thought it could be my original GC Pad that's somehow causing these freezes. Its plugged into a 3in1 Magic Joy Box and im using the "latest" drivers for it. I also disabled the wii plugin. The game still freezes...
So after many hours of playing around i come to you guys for help. Does anybody of you have any ideas i could try out or actually know the problem i'm experiencing?
Here some details to the System im running:
Windows 7 64 Bit
Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3,3 GHz
Gforce GTX 460
4GB DDR2 Ram
Soundblaster XFI
always running on one of the latest revisions
I'll upload my settings of the plugins into the attachments below.
Im using DirectX9 and the DSP-HLE Plugin with the default options. Rest is in my screenshots below.
Oh and here is the Log file:
