Hopefully this isn't an old topic, but Google failed me in my search for an answer. Basically, I'm trying to get Super Mario Galaxy to work properly on Dolphin 4.02, and I'm sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place. Here's the thing: If I switch the audio to use the DSP HLE emulation, there's no music, only sound effects and a few jingles. If I switch it to the DSP LLE recompiler, the music works just fine, but the game runs down to 50-60% speed.

Does anyone have any advice for what other options I might be able to use to get the game to both have music and work properly? Or is my computer just not up to snuff for doing both at the same time? (See below)

Operating System: Windows 7 x86
Processor/CPU: Intel i7 960, 3.20GHz
Video Card/GPU: NVIDIA GTX 460
Memory/RAM: 6.00 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 4.02 x86

Have you tried using the latest dev build, out of curiosity?
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X @ 4.2 GHz | MSI GTX 1070TI 8GB | 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | Windows 10 Pro x64 | Dolphin 5.0-10886

The latest development builds fix this problem, you don't have to use LLE in them anymore as HLE works perfectly now, not just this but they are notable faster than the stable buils 4.0 and 4.0.2
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.

Had to tinker with some options, but that totally worked. Thanks a lot, guys!
