Super mario galaxy nunchuck issue

when i play super mario galaxy in dolphin emulator, it runs smoothly but my hybrid controller setup doesnt work. (I use hybrid for ir sensor mouse support) when i play the game or level, mario keeps running to the top right of the screen even though i am not touching the nunchuck. I didnt change any settings in the hybrid config, except for the ir. Any help is appreciated
