Question
When I first started playing 'Super Mario Galaxy', it didn't have any music at all. Then today I enabled the 'RE0 Audio Hack' in the DSP settings, and got music to work.
Then when Dolphin 'Cleared the code cache' during play, the music vanished again! Is there any way to stop this from happening? Dodgy
Ok, so I started Dolphin in Debugger mode, and enabled the Inifinite Cache option.
Turns out this has nothing to do with clearing the code cache! The music simply disappears after a while!

Just use the latest version and look what it says at the emulation state of the game (hover the mouse over the stars right from the game at the iso list). There is your answer of what you need for the sound not to disappear. You just waste your time looking blindly right now imo.

Use LLE if you want fully working music, for right now you'll need to dump the roms from a Wii or Gamecube. The developers are concentrating on improving the performance of the LLE plugin, which will likely replace HLE sometime down the road. As for the issue with the HLE plugin, it will likely not be fixed, it's just too complex to reverse engineer and fix.

I just tried using LLE with my GC DPS dump files, but the music still lags and glitches, it doesn't dissapear, but whenever theres an FX sound playing it glitches like crazy. Any way to solve this?

I did that 3 more times, same result.
Maybe someone could send me a dump that works?

EDIT: Could the GC itself have some problem that causes this?
