Any thoughts about Super Mario Galaxy, Fountain (area 2), Rolling Green (galaxy 2 - on the Wii, you vertically orient the Wiimote, to roll around the course while balanced on a ball), using a gamepad as an emulated wiimote? Terrace (area 1), Loopdeeloop (galaxy 4 - I think; It's the penguin waterslide racecourse, shaped like a figure 8) is just BARELY configurable on a single gamepad (the XBox controller clone, Logitech F310, for the record), while maintaining other control functionality/usability, but Rolling Green has me baffled. My left analog stick is mapped to the Nunchuk stick, for movement. My right analog stick is mapped to the IR emulator, for basic pointer control. Separate from the left and right analog triggers (which I end up using quite successfully for Loopdeeloop), I don't have another stick available for rolling around on a ball. Anyone ever come up with a solution for this, assuming of course you don't have your Wiimote/Nunchuk handy?
Alternately, is it possible to map more than one controller to a single player?
