FWIW, I added fastmem support for Linux between 3.5 and now. That's a +10-15% performance boost on CPU emulation. Might be why you're seeing such an improvement from 3.0-xxx.

If you go right before that was merged, you'll see the fastest dolphin has been in a while. Then again, Neobrain fixed 90% of that performance regression. Neobrain, fixing a performance regression. Let that sink in.
Could you be able to please tell me what revision this is?

I doubt this is because of any cpu changes as smg is VideoCommon bottlenecked all the time. In fact, this is the game I always use to profile the video thread. So maybe it's still video thread bottlenecked with LLE?
As the OpenGL backend changed much since 3.5, the speedup could be because of the nvidia gpu.

ill need try running SMG2 then....

requirements for me generally increased for the games i play in DX11 mode. (that new Quaility thing for the AA REALLY takes a toll on my system).

only game so far ive tried is late game Twilight princess so that might be it.

What type of AA is the new DX11 aa anyways. i dont get the quaility thing at all and it really stresses my 7850 compared to say DX9 and 4x SSAA. i can barley run 4x of it.

It's not new. D3d11 has almost since the beginning had support for MSAA/CSAA and that's it.
