So it seems that this level (Beach Bowl Galaxy in the Kitchen galaxies) in Super Mario Galaxy has some real problems in OpenGL (but not D3D11 it seems!!? Confused ).
It looks like swimming around a bit causes this but mostly the worst is the eel creature that sticks it's head out...
It goes away after a little while but, for me, the game-play is compromised..

Intel Graphics drivers are known to be shit. It's not a problem with Dolphin's OGL, it's a problem with Intel's drivers. Just use D3D.

Did you make sure you have the latest drivers from Intel's website? They just pushed an update about a week or 2 ago.

I downloaded the driver update utility but it says that I have a custom driver from the manufacturer of my computer and it shouldn't update the driver because it might lose some functionality, So it looks like I'm stuck there... Sad

Go to your computer manufacturer's website and see if they have any updates.

It's (usually) safe to ignore that warning, just go to Intel's Download site to download and manually install the driver. This is why I never use the OS that comes with a computer, I always install a fresh, untouvched version of Windows.......

Yes. Like we've already said, Intel's drivers are shit. Use D3D.
