If it bothers you, use the Widescreen Gecko Code instead and disable Dolphin's Widescreen Hack. The Gecko Code version is a much better widescreen code version, but seems to occupy more of the game's buffer, which leaves the stuff like forcing hires models and increasing draw distances a bit limited when pushing it too much. 09-13-2019, 05:56 AM

Hmm, I may be daft but I can't get the gecko widescreen to work properly either. Top is AR + widescreen hack, bottom is gecko code. Both use Force 16:9. Gecko looked squashed. https://imgur.com/a/yAlJ6BG (09-13-2019, 05:56 AM)e2zippo Wrote: Hmm, I may be daft but I can't get the gecko widescreen to work properly either. Yeah, the Gecko Code version isn't entirely perfect on the intro screen, but the Star Select and File Select work better there. Are you sure the Aspect Ratio is set to 16:9 and that you are in Fullscreen Mode? 09-13-2019, 06:46 AM

AR is 16:9 and I'm in fullscreen mode. Gecko is squashed. You mean it's only like that in the intro? 09-13-2019, 06:54 AM

Edit: I tried with the gecko code on the wiki and that one seems to work 48000000 8019E450 DE000000 80008180 142D6AE8 2B010400 142D6AF4 241903FF 1427D5D0 10000044 142CFCAC 252A0118 142CFC88 27180028 142CFC8C 44982000 142DB3C4 3C05C400 142DB3D4 3C054126 142D7B84 0808FFC0 142D7B88 00000000 1423FF00 24A50035 1423FF04 27BDFFB0 1423FF08 080B5EE3 1423FF0C AFBF0014 142D7E88 0808FFC4 142D7E8C 00000000 1423FF10 24840035 1423FF14 27BDFF98 1423FF18 080B5FA4 1423FF1C AFBF001C 142E37B8 24040112 142E37CC 24040122 142E37E8 24040130 142E386C 2404015C 142E3890 2404016C 142E38BA 2484016C 142E3A20 24040114 142E3A34 2404014F 142E3A4C 24040163 142E3A64 24040185 142E3AAC 24040159 142E3AC0 2404017C 142E3B58 240E0174 142DB708 24190157 142CD234 10000009 E0000000 80008000 C2052268 00000003 3F203B99 9329052C 3F20BF80 93290530 2C190000 00000000 C204EAF0 00000006 38610048 3C003F40 90020000 C2220000 C0030000 EC110032 D0030000 C003000C EC110032 D003000C 60000000 00000000 Yours is different, and description for all your widescreen codes seem to be wrong maybe?
