Why is the latest version of zip file with folders you have to extract, and not an executable?
Seems really weird. 03-26-2018, 08:33 PM
Because packaging an executable extractor is annoying. So we only do that for stable releases!

I rather avoid installers if possible. A plug-and-play folder is faster to replace and maintain and much less of a hassle to get started with.
I just unzipped it and I now have two versions of dolphin laying around on my computer, so im going to get rid of the old version.
My G3S controller now works, although dolphin still shows 4 different controllers in the gamecube controller configuration. I have run into another problem though, my save files no longer seems to work.. I took backup of MemoryCardA.EUR after making lots of progress in my games, but theres no save games except super mario sunshine where i have 1 star.. 03-27-2018, 05:32 PM

Gamecube games save to a memory card, Wii games to the Wii NAND. There probably is another MemoryCardA.EUR somewhere on your computer, if you only have European games that should be enough, if you imported some American and Japanese games then you will have more than 1 memory card (one for each region)

I didn't find more than one MemoryCardA.EUR on my computer, but i got the same result from the american memorycard as well. Completely lost all my saved games. I guess i should just take backup of the whole GC folder? |
