i think im missing something, its the same socket and it also says it is compatible with the ivy bridge via bios update, so i should be able to upgrade
does it mean anything when it comes to overcloking ? very useful link with the power calculator by the way
Yes,you can't overclock with h61 boards.
And since these more expensive cpu with k at the end of name are unlocked and meant for overclocking,it would be a waste to put them in cheap board
