I've recently been playing Skyward Sword on a real Wii U, and I found its constant need to calibrate the Wii Motion Plus annoying. What's especially annoying is that it wants me to do it for the cursor's position on the screen, as that could simply be done with the IR sensor. But then, it gave me an idea:
Is it possible to do something similar with Dolphin to make it so that it can emulate the IR sensor for real Wii Motes? That way, we don't have to set up an IR sensor for our computer. Basically, the on-screen cursor's positon would be determined based on the angle of the Wii mote and a pre-set "distance from screen" number in the controller options.
If it's possible, would anyone on the team be willing to implement this feature? Or is it already a feature and I just didn't realize it?
