whenever i download a new SVN i have to re-set all of the control settings and the memory cards and such (or copy the setting files). I was wondering why not just set the setting files to be on one pre-set directory (such as %AppData%\Dolphin for example) and have all the next SVNs just look there for settings? will save the need to constantly re set the settings every time.
just a suggestion.

People have been asking for the ability to browse for and set a "saves" directory for years now, dont hold your breath.

Currently copy and pasting your "User" folder on top of your latest svn download is the status quo, but hopefully sometime in the near future you will be able to instruct Dolphin to find and/or create a new saves directory will be implemented. I'm positive after the recent major changes the team is considering FINALLY adding it when it should have been added years ago from day 1.

Now keep in mind copy and pasting your "User" folder with all your game specific configs and saves from previous revision still wouldnt help you (or anyone else) with errors that will pop up from things like the new way the audio sample rate is handled, because you'd still have to change it, but it would sure as hell make it a whole lot better for everyone overall.

EDIT- I'm drunk btw.
If the FPS is erratic, this option may help.
