Suddenly running slow

Hey guys I've been using Dolphin off and on for years now. Recently I've come across an issue though, I was playing a game and it was going great for an hour. I turned it off and went back to playing it later and all of a sudden it's running at 15 FPS. I tried clearing the cache, and it's on default config (Dolphin 5.0 Windows x64). Turned my computer on high performance mode as well. If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful

Did you set your graphics card to high performance also? If all else fails, you can do the old reboot the computer. I've had issues where Dolphin suddenly started running slow, and after exhausting everything, I just rebooted & it worked fine after. If you're sure you haven't changed anything, maybe check the temps of your computer when it's running slow

I spent several hours and ended up with a massive headache trying to fix this. You my good sir, just fixed my problem. Thank you.
