Hi everybody.
I used to play some games in Dolphin, just nicely as my computer can. Games like Mario Kart Wii, NSMB Wii and SSBB used to run really quickly and smoothly.
Since a week ago, all of them are running really slow ingame, and Dolphin becomes almost non-responsible. When I click to stop, pause or even getting out of fullscreen, it takes like 10 seconds to do what I want. All the games run at 60 fps at menu but like 9~20 fps ingame, while it should be like 30~50.

The only one thing i've done this week is my graphic's driver update (Nvidia) obviously to a newer version.
Did anybody else got this issue as well?
What can I do to back playing?

And sorry for my bad english, i'm brazilian. Thaanks Wink

We need some more information.
Could you tell us...

- Your driver version
- What revision of Dolphin
- What Graphics card you have.

I have an idea, basically it's that suddenly you've updated to a build of Dolphin using OpenCL without realising, and it's not working very well.
Do you get your builds from http://www.dolphin-emu.org? Because they recently implemented OpenCL since r5805, and it's causing problems.

Well it wasnt actualy from 5805.

ADVICE : try with 5790 (OpenCl)

Thaanks for the answers Big Grin
Yes, I got my build (5212) from "dolphin-emulator", but that's the same build that I used to play before, when there wasn't any issue.

My driver is the 257.21 one from NVIDIA, using 8600GT as my GPU.
By the way, I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits and so, 64 bits version of Dolphin.

I'm going to try using 5790 or any other build from somewhere else and I'll post the results here.

Thaanks again and sorry for the bad english ;D
Greetings from Brazil =D

r5790 from dolphin-emu.org should be absolutely fine. Smile
Well I don't know if it relates, but depending on how I configure the drivers for my ATI card, Dolphin can be fast, or very very slow.
It could be as simple as setting up your Nvidia drivers for performance instead of quality.

Sorry for my lateness, but I've done tested this r5790 and I still having slow gameplay...
I'm still searching on this, and will post any positive results.
Btw, my driver settings are already set for perfomance.
Also I've noted that now graphics looks so anti-aliased, while used to be very smooth before graphic driver update. I never use any kinda of anti-aliasing setting, but graphics now looks really weird when in DirectX.
Anyway, thanks for all the helps.

Now I just realized that it just might be a Direct X problem.
Unresponsible, slow and creepy graphics game only when directX choosen as graphic plugin. And I still can't play with OpenGL 'cause it was always slow for me.

Now I regret having updated my graphics driver. Sad
