Tbh I was totally caught off guard by the announcement that the listing was resurrected. I only ever remember seeing vocal opposition to the idea of maintaining a listing again. What has changed? Will the pro listing be revived? Most importantly, are these just cherry picked dev builds or actually monthly builds (for both pc and android?).
Sudden play store release?

It's been listed for nearly two months now and hasn't had an update since then. I'm suspecting it's a fake!

Can I also mention the dev builds they are using (obviously) is really out of date.

The other listings are fake (in the sense that they are not releases that are made by us, not necessarily in the sense that they don't run GC/Wii games). 08-04-2018, 02:02 AM

What I find weird is that when I put in "Dolphin Emulator" onto the Google play store it always comes up with the fake apps first and the real app isn't anywhere to be seen. 08-04-2018, 02:12 AM

Yeah, I'm not sure why that happens. Maybe it just needs some more time in order for the real one to start showing up? 08-04-2018, 02:35 AM
The opposition was voiced before somebody pitched the idea of using the beta track, and automating the uploading, which satisfied a lot of concerns.
I see our beta track gets uploaded to the "production" release on Play Store. Wouldn't be possible to tweak the auto-upload script to push the development track into the "beta" release on Play Store? That way users who deliberately opted in for the beta release on the Play Store could get the latest development builds without needing to manually download the APK from the website, without affecting the normal users who just hit install button on the Play Store...

This is a great idea, +1 from me. 08-04-2018, 05:23 AM
