When running NSMBW on 3.0-710, it runs flawlessly.
When running NSMBW on 4.0 through currrent build, i get laggy menus but more annoyingly, i get one big hiccup about every 10 seconds while inside a level.
Identical settings. CPU/GPU under less than 50% load.
Help please.

Yes, the post you edited after mine was posted. >_>

Which development build(s) did you try specifically?

Edited for better clarification, but it still said "4 through current." I just added the word "build."
Anywho, now that we're past that (lol)
Stable 4.0
Stable 4.0.1
Stable 4.0.2
4.0-8488
Ive tried Windows 7&8 btw

Most likely it was just shader compilation stuttering. You should just use the latest dev build and keep at it for a while to build up a shader cache, and you'll get to keep the higher speed and better accuracy!

Correction: Super smash bros brawl is now doing the exact same thing on latest dev build as well.
So is mario kart wii.
I guess i need to play with the settings.
Kinda dissapointing as 3.0 plays all these ganes
