Stuck on "Game Data Can't Be Saved"

Hi there, I'm trying to play Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD on my laptop. I'm running Dolphin SVN R 6607.

When I start either game, at the PRESS START screen I press enter. Immediately I get the message "The Memory Card in Slot A is corrupted and must be formatted. Would you like to format the Memory Card?". I choose YES, and then I get the message "The game data can't be saved. Continue without saving?". I choose YES just to see if the game will work, but then nothing happens and it goes back to the "PRESS START" screen, where I get the same message sequence again if I press enter.

I have tried deleting the "MemoryCardA.USA.raw" file in User>GC folder so that dolphin regenerates a new one when it runs, but I get the same message sequence. I have also downloaded a "MemoryCardA.USA.raw" file off of this forum and copied it into the GC folder, but I get the same message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Computer Specs:
Samsung R480
Intel i5-M430 @ 2.27 GHz
4.00GB RAM
64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M

I have the same problem with Pokemon Colosseum. I run it from an iso on my harddrive. I've tried switching out the .raw files, etc to no avail. Can anyone help me?
