Stuck in Super Mario Galaxy

So I came across this point in the game. I can't seem to do it right. I don't know if I am doing something wrong with the controls or that it is a genuine bug in the game or Dolphin (although i don't see how dolphin could affect this but you never know)

This is an emulation problem, not a control problem. Make sure that "Skip EFB Access from CPU" in the graphics hacks is turned off.

This is already turned off.

Hm, that's odd... If the settings are correct, I can't think of any reason other than a GPU driver problem, but that's only really a thing on Android.

I don't know what I did but I kept spamming them on the guy and suddenly it worked. Im not gonna use the feature though.
Hopefully i dont need to.

i think it's a known problem about dolphin 5.0-6842 making the game unstable i think

There's no known problem like that if I'm not mistaken.
