Morning folks,

So trying to see if anyone has been successful with this method, if its plausible. As of now I use launchbox, and stream dolphin from my PC to Nvidia shield pro. Mainly for gamecube, but I wanted to venture into Wii. So I have the Wii working on my PC using a dolphinbar, works great. I thought for shits and giggles I would plug the dolphinbar into my shield pro and see if it was something easy. Well, guess not. I can get the Wii remote to work as a remote to cycle through shield and launchbox, but when i launch a Wii game, dolphin wants no part of it. Is this a thing, and im just doing something wrong, or was it just wishful thinking?

setup-
OS-Win10
Streaming service- Nvidia Gamestream
Frontend-Launchbox
Emulator- Dolphin
Rom-Wii(a few)
Controller-Original Wii Remote
Sensor-Dolphinbar
Device streamed to- Nvidia Shield Pro.

The DolphinBar has to be connected to the device that's running Dolphin. So either you would need to connect the DolphinBar to the PC, or you would need to run Dolphin directly on your Nvidia Shield TV.

Sadly that's what I figured it would be. Would have been really nifty to use it in living room without hooking it to tv. But can always go external drive and install dolphin on shield. Thank you.

I stream games from my PC to my TV (with a shield, pegasus as my frontend). Since I have a AMD card, I use Steamlink. I don't own a Dolphinbar so I can't comment on that directly.

However, from what I have read, using Steamlink you can connect Dolphinbar to the Shield and then use VirtualHere (free version allows one connection) to do the streaming of the remote. It will likely introduce input latency, I do not know if it will be too much. I've seen reports with it being acceptable but you would want to do your own testing. Would be curious what you find!
