So, this problem is both confusing and vexing. I had Dolphin working and running in Windows 7 64 bit, then closed out of it after changing the control scheme. When I double clicked the program again, the icon came up on the taskbar like it was running, but the window itself only appeared for a very brief second in the top left corner before disappearing. When I alt-tab, I can SEE the Dolphin program window, but setting on it, the way that would normally bring a program to the 'front', does nothing. It acts like it's running, but nothing I do will bring it up. When I right click the program icon on the taskbar and then left click the program name again, it starts up a new instance of the program which A: claims the memory cards are corrupt and B: refuses to change any of the settings, defaulting back as soon as I close the edit window (after clicking save settings). I have tried restarting the program several times after killing it in task manager.
Ummm, any ideas? I did look through a few threads to try to find an answer and didn't find anything. BUT it wouldn't surprise me if I missed something obvious. If I did, sorry.
