I already posted it under Mario Kart Wii (Games) not many people look there, so I repeat:
Connecting & Disconnecting Wiimote while in menu's will say 'Controller Interrupted' then you press A and it recognizes a GameCube controller. Now play a course without frame limit and it suddenly goes at 100-105% speed!
Proof:
    <-- 106% = GameCube controller;

    <-- 63% = Wiimote Emulated (New)

I use normal Wiimote plugin and it goes full speed...
Bottom line: Wiimote New plugin Rumble is bugged...

Edit: check my Constant rumble slowdown threads. I think I now know that the cause of this slowdown is.

Does it only happen when you activate and deactivate it ingame or also when you start the game with wiimote deactivated?

Doesn't work in course, but just before course start; (menu won't speedup but courses will)
but yeah in-game with activate/ deactivate only, the game has to show a gamecube controller layout

Proof @ image; 106%=play with gamecube controller, 63% is play with wiimote (new) plugin

...oh my god... I use normal wiimote plugin and it goes full speed... bottom line: wiimote new plugin is bugged like hell... too bad you can't set all buttons for it

did you tried to set the gc pad to directinput/keyboard ? if not, try it, some games do not enjoy when i have a gcpad + wiimote together in wii games that support both gcpad and wiimote and classic controller, so i just set the gcpad to directinput/keyboard on wii games and i have no problems with new incomplete wii plugin
