You should know that this emulator need high speed processor....

already trashed my old venice 3200+ (it was damaged) but processor means money... i have other think to trash my money for...

so you say that isn't enough to play resident evil?

Obviously, except you have a high clock, such as 4GHz (You will smell something burning though after a while lol)
You need a high clock cpu at least 5GHz (2.5GHz * 2) to get a decent speed on Dolphin.

You can't multiply clock speed by the number of cores you have. A 100 core cpu won't be faster than a single core cpu in single threaded applications, assuming uarch and clock speed is the same.

Yeah, I know about that, and we're speaking about Dolphin, which support Dual Core (although not perfectly using them). But even in a single thread applications, the speed should be faster since the OS's works will be done by another core and made the other core focused on the application.

I'd love to see the day that the OS actually schedules processor time on multiple cores correctly... without using threading trickery Tongue

Yeah lol

Or it should be embedded on the OS, so the OS can choose which core to run on....
Let's hope for that on the upcoming OS...
