I'm using Dolphin rev 2960 x64 and with old graphics drivers was everything normal, most games worked fine but I've updated graphics drivers for Geforce 7950 X2 (it's dual core graphics working similar to SLI) and now I'm getting such error "Warning: incomplete rt" or something like that every time I'm trying to run any game. Games start cause I can hear the sound and I got FPS counter in top left corner but all screen is just black, I'm running Windows XP 64. And btw is there any problem for Dolphin to use dual core/SLI/Crossfie graphics cards? May this caused any problems?
Strange error

I've found the problem, for some reason newer drivers are much worst and slower in Dolphin than drivers from 2007 and most of all can't use antialias in Dolphin on theese new drivers, some stupidity, seems that are not to well optimized for older cards only for 8,9,200 series probably.
BTW I've found some really funny thing about SLI - more things like antialias, anistropic filtering and that kind of stuff U got on, and higher the resolution faster games on Dolphin work. 04-18-2009, 12:30 AM
Installing new video drivers every month is not such a good idea if you own something other than Nvidia GT2xx or Ati HD4xxx, it's putting your computer to a fire test.
BTW, the new ATI Catalyst 9.4 caused HUGE memory leaks in Dolphin, rendering the computer almost unusable after 10 min, just stay away from those for now.

For me new nvidia drivers, 18x.xx series, causes average loss of 5fps and impossibility of using antialias in Dolphin - if compared to older drivers of course.

That's strange, I use the latest drivers (182.08) for my NVidia 9400 GT and don't have any problems with it. I wonder if you should consider upgrading your graphics card.

I bet this 9400GT isn't faster than old 7950X2 at all so don't be silly, the only thing that works worst on new drivers is dolphin, all other games like Fallout 3, GTA4, Dead Space work better. And most important thing, this pc with Geforce 7950X2 I'm working on now isn't mine. 04-21-2009, 08:32 PM

Don't get so deffensive. If you think you have a better sollution, then by all means, let us know. And how is the PC not being yours the most important thing? How does that help us? Reading through your problems, it sounds like it's a problem with the graphics card. You've obviously tried installing different drivers, getting different results. So what do you think the problem is?

I also have a driver problem... not expecting anyone here to know a fix, just want to tell you it's strange. I installed XP64 as dualboot along with Vista32, and Dolphin worked fine (except sound drivers didn't work in XP64). Then, after I updated my Nvidia drivers for XP64, Dolphin didn't work anymore in XP64, Vista though have had no problems. I'm quite new to this whole driver issue so I've been failing so far trying to fix it all, but in the end it's not worth the trouble for the small speed gain.
