Hi again!  Sorry I always seem to just post in Support... I have another issue with Xenoblade.  I had been using the 4.0.2 release to play the game with the texture pack, but as the texture pack has been updated and updated and now requires the development builds, I've upgraded to those.  Actually, I messed around with one back in December 2014 with these same results, but never bothered figuring out what was up.

Anyway, here's what's basically happening, and my setup.  Using the Direct3D backend, with the latest texture pack, the game will start up without issue in a new window, loading all textures and whatnot, no problems.  But as soon as I enter fullscreen, either by pressing alt+enter or by clicking the fullscr button, Dolphin proceeds to flip out.  The audio will continue but my screen will just flash repeatedly.  Sometimes the game will come up and then crash shortly after, but usually I just get the screen flashing with the game no longer displaying, much less in full screen.  What other information should I include?  Thank you so much for your time!

Edit: Ah, I forgot to include, I have already tried to see if anyone had any similar issues, but I didn't come across anything... I may simply suck at searching! Terribly sorry if this is a known issue with a known fix! ;w;

First of all, you shouldn't be using D3D if you have an Nvidia card. Switch to OpenGL, and you should see better performance--you can also see if this issue still happens. Also, are you using borderless fullscreen or exclusive fullscreen?

Ahh. I was using exclusive fullscreen apparently, I was thinking it was borderless fullscreen natively and there was the option for exclusive fullscreen, but it looks like the exact opposite was the case! Switching to OpenGL and borderless fullscreen have seemingly fixed my issue, though it seems to get choppy for a moment when entering battle for the first time and it also takes much longer to load the game than it did with D3D (using the DDS version of the HD Texture Pack). Is that expected behavior?

Entering the battle for the first time is the shader cache being generated. That will go away over time.

Ah! Alright, thanks everyone! My issues seem mostly fixed now.
