Just wondering if anyone has tried this. I've been working on it. It's not perfect but is fun. The stix got horrible reviews, and at it's original price I can see why, but I bought a few for 3 bucks each and at that price they are AWSOME! Really don't see much else about them in my searches. I don't have many games to try it on yet, but it's better than a mouse to get that Wii experience.

Just wondering if anyone else has tried this or a similar NON official wii mote.

it looks like a cheap knock off, i don't know why anyone would get that since you can just buy a wiimote and with glovepie you'll have all the advantages of it on any game.
alot of us already have wiimotes from our wiis.

Well... I don't have a Wii.... which is why I'm messing around with an emulator. For me it's part of the challenge of CAN it be done.

It is a cheap knock off... CHEAP being the key word. LOL With it's mapping stuff it works pretty well though. Like a wii without motion plus. I have other hacking plans for it as well, so this was one of many things I wanted to try. It's a no loss sort of thing for me and was looking to see if there were any like minded individuals out there who were more open to the possibility. Eventually I'll probally get a wii - mote, but at this point that's more money than I'm willing to pay. 3 bucks vs 30 +... That's alot of movie nights for me or another couple used games for my current system.

Yep..It was on sale on Amazon and they're on ebay. I ended up getting 3 of them (one for each of my kids so even the littlest could pretend to play while the other two gave it a try). Just google it... go to shopping... then sort by price. You'll see what I mean about cheap.

I would like to say, if you make a hack that lets us use the Stix 400 as a wiimote, I would love to see that hack. I can attempt to program it to recognize some button presses, but it does not seem to track the controller's motion too well.
