Stick automatically stuck in Down position?

I seem to be having a problem with my gamepads while I'm playing Four Swords Adventures. On level 3, zone 2, after heading up the ladder/stairs/whatever from the first area, Dolphin decides that the best thing to do would be ignoring vertical Main-stick input and automatically making the Links move downward. If I press Up on the main stick, Link sits in place instead of going up.

These are the gamepads I've tested this with:
  • Sony Dualshock 4 (I tried having the stick mapped to either the D-pad or left stick)
  • Wii Remote Plus in DInput mode via the Dolphinbar from Mayflash
  • Logitech Precision 2
I haven't yet tested it with a keyboard.
I have no other controllers mapped.
Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks!

LATE EDIT: Cleared out all my settings so they'd set to default. Oddly, it fixed the problem.

Is this a problem on other games? If it is Zelda specific, you might want to delete and re-burn the game. If not, then try remapping a controller and test our the keyboard to see if it is a controller problem or a Dolphin problem

Just tested it out with WarioWare Inc. and it seems to work fine. Perhaps I will have to re-burn my game. Thanks!

No problem! Although I would suggest trying out your keyboard before you go through all that work just to realize it might be something else or just a part of the game you can get past by using a keyboard for a few seconds.

Oddly, the keyboard seems to work fine. Thanks again.

If you have consistent problems then re-imaging the game would be the first step to take, unless you don't mind using a keyboard (like me :3)
