Figured it out. Faulty zip program opened the development version incorrectly. Got it up and running and the 3D is fantastic!!!!

I noticed that DX12 has been merged into master already. May I ask if I am on Win10, may I enable DX12 with 3D Vision?

Thanks a lot!

I have been playing dolphin in 3D for a while now, i realised that RE4 doesn't work correctly in 3D stereoscopic. There is 3D depth between text & the 3D gameplay, but there's no 3D depth in the 3D gameplay world. Can the developers kindly look into this?

I tried RE4 in PCSX2, too, the 3D there works right.

Does RE4 in Dolphin support EFB scaling? If you can't increase the EFB resolution, you can't enable 3D either.

I suppose so, i'm playing at 2x, 3x native resolution. The 3D polygons looks great at higher resolution.

I found it rather odd that many games plays in 3D correctly, except RE4.

Edit: Thanks for the reply, Amanda. I fiddled with the EFB checkbox, it seems to work now.

It should be, and works in all backends except for the software render. Keep in mind HDMI 3d can be tricky to get working (i.e. various oddities and particular settings are typically required for resolutions and framerate), I've had better luck with using the split screen options and selecting the appropriate mode on my 3d TV.
