Steel Series 3GC Controller for Dolphin 5.0 Mac

I've been searching the internet to figure out how to get it to work and finally figured it out after a while so thought I might as well post for others.

It works!

though I still don't know how to get the rumble to work -____-

Firstly, Mac, you don't need to download anything. It connects automatically, you know it's working if you're able to find within controller configuration the "Generic USB Joystick" option.

My issue was that even though Dolphin (v5.0) recognizes it, it would NOT work in games. Just configure it after you load the game... its stupid but it works. After 2 hours of trying to figure it out (I'm really slow at figuring stuff out), I'm just happy I can use my $20 controller! (even if rumble still doesn't work )

If anyone can figure out the rumble issue, please let me know!

You literally made my life so much better. I also have a macbook and an old 3GC and was trying to play the Sims Bustin Out and could NOT find any help.


First I downloaded joystick mapper just to get the controller recognized then I could not get it to work in game.


I had originally been playing using my keyboard so IF YOU'RE USING THE EMULATED WIIMOTE, TURN IT OFF AND THEN ADJUST IN GAME.
