Steam overlay breaking Dolphin in OpenGL

Today, I used the program Ice so I can use Steam as a ROM library. The problem is that when I'm running my games with the OpenGL backend, the game goes haywire. Here is an example http://puu.sh/9smAd/10598bd3d0.jpg. When I switch the backend over to Direct3D, it runs like the game should but lags whenever a lot of things are happening on the screen. I know it's the steam overlay because when the game is starting, the intro video plays fine, but once the Steam tab pops up at the bottom right of the screen the video instantly goes black and I only hear the audio. Is there a fix for this issue? To be more specific I would like to run my games within Steam, but with the OpenGL backend so the lag goes away. Thank you all for your future support!

I am using Dolphin 4.0-1843

Don't know what to tell you. Various people here on the forums have done this before, poke around and see what you find?

All I can say to you is that I already said somthing about it, but never made an issue report. This is a thing with the OpenGL backend. Quite frankly, though, I won't make an issue report, because it'll suck if I do it.

Interesting. I can't reproduce it on my end in Linux+Nvidia.

Wonder if it is a bug on AMD's end.
