Steam IHS interfering with controls

Hi,

I'm having a problem streaming the emulator through Steam. It used to work perfectly (and still does when not streamed) but I think a recent Steam update is interfering with the controls configured for my ds3's. They now behave like the Steam controller: right thumb stick controls mouse cursor, RT/LT is right/left click, circle exits the emulation so must be mapped to escape.

Has anyone else had this problem and know a fix?
