That's were the emulator's own DPII decoding would come in handy if it worked well, as you could leave your computer on 5.1 output.  I have the same problem but I don't really use LLE to avoid the performance penalty.  Hopefully the DPII decoding function will work correctly with HLE sometime in the future.
