Will you be utilizing this to optimize your Xenoblade pack? I think it might benefit it nicely?

Definitely, all the mipmaps I had in there before were using the same default as I did with the mips I made yesterday for star wars, so they are blurrier than they should be. This sharpness thing was a good idea , I give you the credit for making me aware they were much blurrier than they could be!

I've already batched a zip literally within a minute. Updating the link now!
Here is this again with fixed text (and proper dimensions) before I forget about it forever.
Couldn't find a matching font so I drew the text the best I could. Probably not a perfect match, but it should be close enough. Not sure how it looks in-game, too tired/lazy to test atm but it must be better than the last one. 01-30-2015, 10:29 PM
I've updated the textures for Rogue Leader,
What's new, - A big thanks to Bighead, as I've been able to complete the Death Star 1 surface textures, including all necessary mips, literally within a minute (rather than what would take me an hour or two to do)! So, since I consider this level to be complete (unless anyone has an added suggestion for me to do, or maybe from time to time in the future, I might think up a small little tweak to include), enjoy the HD remake of the Battle of Yavin! 01-31-2015, 01:22 AM
Dude! This is stunning work! Doesn't even feel like the same game anymore in a good way!

I've updated the textures for Rogue Leader. Check the link in the next hour or so.
What's new, - So, after working for quite a while on the Ison nebula, I think I have finished a satisfying look to the level. However, I am open to constructive criticism as always. Hope you guys enjoy it! I think this level is now finished (unless of course, I change that planet they hyperspace through). I used Maya to make a very high 8192x8192 render of a custom cloud formulation in the same way a nebula works. The reason for such a high-res render is because the level seems to zoom and stretch the texture over 2x or even 3x the original, which causes pixelation in earlier renditions. So, I decided to go all out, but the texture in the pack is 2048x2048 for the sake of performance, and it is still crisp! - Do note that the cut-scenes make the textures to be color-banded. It seems that the GameCube outputs at a weird 5:6:5 format in these cut-scenes, except the banding issue goes away when you are playing in-game. I will see what I can do to remove the banding (could be a hardware issue [the GameCube hardware] that we might not be able to resolve!). - I need sleep. 01-31-2015, 07:24 AM
I've noticed you can see a black line at the top of the green nebula in the second half of the level. Must be where the textures connect.

Does the nebula look like what I've shown in the above images? For me, the link is now updated (seems to have taken all night while I was asleep). So, as of writing this post, the link is up and running with the latest.

Just an FYI, using 7-zip can save lots of space for your packs so its not so much to upload/download. 7-zip GUI is not too bad, but WinRAR's is more powerful so I use that to pack. To convert, I have a script (here) that mass converts rar/zip files to 7z if you don't want change your packing method. This was my first batch project and its messy script but works well. After conversion your pack went from 401MB to 280MB, which is around 35% smaller.
