Star Fox Adventures painfully slow -- anything to be done?

Star Fox Adventures seems to often just drag.

Sometimes it gets up to 100%, but others, like the main hub, plod along at 40% or so, and movie cut scenes hover in the 30s.

My specs are in my sig, and I'm using r7302x64 with the settings recommended in this thread.

Is there anything to be done, or is this just the best my computer can do? Prince of Persia, for example, runs at a pretty smooth 80-100% with the same settings/version.
Specs:
Intel Core i5 M460 @2.53GHz
8GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon 5470
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

well... its cuz you gotta laptop. i mustve been about 12 years old when i realized that playing games on laptops sucked. here it is 15 years later, i am browsing forums on my laptop and if i feel like playing a game... i turn on the desktop.

it's integrated graphics on your laptop....so is not the same as the video card for Desktop...that's the main problem...and the second is your processor
