I read a topic previously about how to enable the Debug Menu... (I was unsure whether to bump it or not but decided to leave it be...here it is, though)

I have Dolphin 3.0 (r7719M) and am trying to get the debug menu codes for SSBM going. I cannot tell which version I have between 1.1 and 1.2 (1.0 and PAL made my emulator crash), but both the 1.1 and 1.2 codes are completely ineffective and the game runs as though I never input them. I tried following the advice in the above mentioned thread, but whenever I add an empty line under the codes and save, I got back to the .ini and the lines are deleted!

I might have to smack myself if this is a painfully obvious answer, but can anybody help?

"Wow, I made my code 1000x faster! That means I can make it 2048x slower now!"

if you look at ssbm (not a compressed file) offset 7 is the version number 1.0x where x is the value at the offset

...right. I appear to have v1.0 then. That's very weird since whenever I input ANY of the codes for 1.0, they all make the emulator crash whenever the game starts and I try going to the Press Start screen. And yes Enable Cheats is definitely on...and I don't have the Master Code on.
