OK......so im having issues running Super Smash Bros Brawl on dolphin 5.0. I submitted my pc specs when I registered, so im assuming itll show up underneath, so if you can see it, why am I experiencing so much lag? Ive ran wii u emulators on an old 8350 with an rx480 and it ran buttery, maybe its because it dolphin uses cpu's differently?, but im at a total loss. Its sad, I bought a gamecube plugin adapter, actually found an official gamecube controller and just bought it, flew home, plugged it up and got the WAH WAH noise. Super sad face...… Ive tried opengl, vulkan, a-z, im not sure what to do at this point. It is playable don't get me wrong, but its not like the console version, and from playing the wii u version and it was amazing, I was disappointed, I wanted to bring out project m and netplay as well.

With that set-up:
Use Vulkan, 6x IR (if you need 4k otherwise 3x is enough) do not use any AA at first (also keep in mind 6x IR + 2x SSAA = 12x IR so 6x IR + 8xSSAA = 48x IR (or 48*640 x 48*528 = 30720x25433 resolution)) Turn on Asynchronous ubershaders and make sure to also turn on Compile shaders before starting. Keep all other settings default. On my machine SSBB runs at over 260FPS (when unlocked) with those settings (On nVidia DX12 is faster though with an avg. of 290FPS) i9 9900k @5.0GHz 2x 8GB Corsair Vengeance at 3000MHz CL15 GeForce RTX2080TI 11GB Running latest version of Dolphin and games from external USB 3.0 Disk (WD Elements 4TB)
Check my profile for up to date specs.

I have an aftermarket gc controller adapter, not mayflash, its YC brand or something like that, causes a slight lag input and doesnt fully register all controls. I plugged in my ps4 controller and everything was fine. Im sorry again, I was so confused because theres absolutely no other explanation hardware wise or even software?, thanks again. |
