SSBB: japanese or european?

What the difference in japanese SSBB emulation and european SSBB emulation? The japanese stats in compatibility list is "yellow" and the stats of the european is "blue"...Excuse my english, people (Brazil)...

Usa a Europeia, está melhor para já, e aconselho usar PAL, NTSC não é muito bom.

The only thing I know is that NTSC runs on full 60 FPS and the PAL version runs on 50 FPS, That's the only thing in gameplay, Don't know about anything else, Maybe they have a different layout (Different character select screen/theme, I don't know, Never saw the Jap version myself, I just read that on supersmash wikia about the FPS thing)
