Hi, I'm having a few technical glitches with brawl using 3d vision. Whenever I finish a match and it's supposed to show what character I used, it shows just a green box where the character should be. Does anybody else experience this issue? Thanks

This is a problem that isn't specific to stereoscopic 3D, and it can be fixed by setting the XFB setting to Real. Real XFB might not work with stereoscopic 3D, though. I would suggest updating to a recent development version of Dolphin, where the problem is purple instead of green and you fix it by turning off Store XFB Copies to Texture Only. I think that will work with stereoscopic 3D (except that the specific part where the problem is will be in 2D), but I'm not entirely sure.

This is now easily solvable in the latest dev builds. So first, download the latest dev builds from our site (dolphin-emu.org) and use that. To fix the green (now magenta) box issue, uncheck "Store XFB Copies to Texture Only". And that will fix it!

Holy crap you guys are quick! Thank you! I will try it when I get to my pc tomorrow! I also want to say that this emulator is just incredible. You guys are actually performing magic. I just picked up an oled 3d tv the other day and finally got around to seeing how it works with dolphin.. I couldn't put my controller down. I'm not kidding, super mario galaxy 2 in 4k 3d has been absolutely blowing my freaking mind!! I literally can't believe how good it looks. I'm seriously amazed!! I also put a link up on reddit on some configs I got working with my switch pro controller and steam with gyro and shake. It's flawless. I'll post it up here once I get to my PC. Ya'll do me a favor and take a nice vacation.

unfortunately, the latest build crashes on me when I try to load Super Mario Galaxy 2. I think it has something to do with 3D vision, as its disabled when i load dolphin back up. Here is a screenshot:

Any info on this? Is 3D broken with the latest update?

I got the game to launch finally by turning off the "store xfb copies", but the screen flickers on and off.

And you are encountering this on an RTX 2080? Hmm, I should test this on my GPU.

Correct. Seems like a rendering issue.
