This might happen for Wii games other than Brawl, but I don't know because I don't have any. It does not happen for Gamecube games. Brawl does work when I enable Dual Core Speedup. It happens to one of my friends too :\.

Does anyone know why? Thanks in advance.

Known issue in 4.0. It's fixed in the latest revision, and we will release 4.01 soon with it fixed.

Why is Dual Core Speedup disabled? I'm curious as to why people with dual/quad core CPUs would want to turn it off Wink

More stability in some games

Weird, never would have guessed. Maybe I don't have games that need it off, but I've heard the issue has been fixed in 4.0-71.

Dual core isn't usable for tasing or netplay. I think it may also potentially cause issues for save states, but i'm not really sure about that. It also breaks video dumping.

Just a few reasons people might use single core.

Can't argue with that Big Grin My PC probably isn't powerful to do TASing or network stuff on Dolphin with dual core off.
