Hello Everyone, I have done a little retexturing with inkscape. So far, some textures were easy enough to recreate (although I have some issues with a few of them). Anyway, here are some textures I have currently done so far. I know this isn't much but I thought of giving what I have so far. I probably won't retexture the entire game since I don't have no art skill at all, but if I have time, I will probably retexture some stuff.

I am using Dolphin x64 4.0.2 build. I have only tested this on Linux using OpenGL, but it should work fine on other platforms. I got the textures from the US version and I only tested it on the US version.

How to run the custom textures on the US version:
To run this, create a folder in "Load/Textures/" called "GQPE78" (without the quotes) and dump all the files inside the Tga folder on to there. On dolphin, go to Graphics -> Advance and be sure "Load Custom Textures" is checked (also uncheck "Dump Texture" if it is checked). Also make sure that Texture Cache is set all the way to fast (it's located in the "Hacks" tab)

Feel free to improve/contribute if you can! (keep in mind that the svg files were created in inkscape)

Moved to the HD Texture Forum.

Keep up the good work. I've always wanted to make HD textures using Inkscape myself, but despite my years of on-off experience with SVG, I'm just not there yet :p

Thanks for moving it!
When it comes to inkscape, there are still many thing I still don't know how to do. I only know how to use the pen and add some (simple) gradient if needed. I think you get there soon. It just requires some playing around with it. Smile

(Forgive me if anyone gets offended because I double posted)

So after my finals, I have been working on some more textures. I got the start screen logo done. I also worked on Ms. Puff and Mermaid Man and decreased Spongebob's eye (although part of the eye is still cropped off). There are also other stuff I did like the R button (both the 3d and 2d texture).

Here is how the logo looks:

I am going to try and work on some more texture. They may not be the best textures but they are okay for what I can do.

It looks more readable!

Ever since I installed another distro on my computer, I have been too lazy to continue to this project. Plus I have school work and all that stuff...
Hopefully I can continue this project in the future.

If you have the chance, you should upload the svg or png of the original file!

Create a thread in General Discussion, then a moderator can move it here to HD Texture Projects. https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-re...re-project
