I reccomend him to just upgrade his pc
CPU: AMD Athlon II X3 440 3.0GHz
Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS 512MB GDDR2 Motherboard: Biostar TA790GXB3 RAM: 2GB DDR3 OS: Windows 7 64bit
Yeah, unfortunately his processor is just not fast enough to handle the sound, graphics and compiler requests all at once.
The only thing that you really have to change for more speed is : ->Graphics Plugin ("Enable EFB Copy" "To Texture") ->Sound Plugin ("Disable Audio Throttle") ->General ("Frame Limiter" "Auto") ; You can also try turning this on/off to see if it's a difference. ->Frame Skipping ("1 or 2") ; Wouldn't recommend this but it helps. ->Try another Emulator reversion. ("e.g.""r4771") If none of the above helps then you really have no other option but to upgrade your computers CPU, I'm not sure what the graphics card is but it will not help in this case, look at it in such this way you're GPU is what will make the games more compatible depending on the drivers, while the CPU on the other hand is what helps with the performance. Operating System: Windows 7 64bit Motherboard: MSI P67A-C643 Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz (stock) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4.00 GB @ 1600MHz Hard Drive: 2 x 500 GB, DVD DL Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 ti @ 850/1701 (stock) Monitor: Acer 24 widescreen 1920x1080 06-15-2010, 06:07 PM
