ok i was fiddling around with dolphin to get mario galaxy at full speed.

and then i did something on accident but was a great speedboost in dolphin.

the thing i did was:
framelimiter: off

and bam 60 fps on mario galaxy instead of 45.
this trick was usefull in rev 5134


i dont know if it works on other games sinds mariogalaxy was the only one i coulndt get to full speed

specs:

E8400 @3.5 ghz
4gb ram
ati 5770 512 mb
windows 7 64 bit.

yeah, I think the framelimiter doesn't work correctly with SMG. That's also why there is this new option next to it...
