I just updated and made a rebuild of dolphin svn 3675 and it just became sooo slow. I played Sonic Adventure 2 Battle always at full speed, but now it has about 20 fps in menu, not saying about ingame fps. Please look into this Smile
PS: nothing was changed in config of emu and plugins

It's a known issue and affects several games, I thought there might of been a fix shortly after the issue was discovered but it appears the developer that was going to fix it is away until July 9th.

Because of this Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Remake stutter and lag quite a bit, Sonic and the Secret of the Rings runs like a slide show. It also causes slowdown and stuttering on other games that never exhibited slowdown issues, at least not to this extent.

Also the watchdog is causing inaccuracy with the FPS counter in addition to the above mentioned issue.

just noticed those slowdowns are kinda random. After restarting the emulator speed became normal, after another restart - again everything is slow

Temporary solution:
use older revs (35xx).
replace your old audio plug in with the new from 36xx.
Then you have full speed and sound!

Wouldn't that affect the recent fixes that have been implemented such as the Galaxy pull star fix and flickering graphics fix in Galaxy?

The slowdown itself is due to one of the XFB commits, I believe it exists in the graphics renderer. So you sacrifice these recent fixes for a gain in performance, unless you don't really care for Mario Galaxy or more stable save states..

I think it would be better for them to find out what went wrong and fix the issue with performance, so none of the recent fixes have to be sacrificed for decent performance again.

dude, posts like this are freaking pointless. by the time the post is read, responded to, and any kind of answer is given, 20 more builds come out and the problem is fixed. why dont people just be patient and stop cluttering the board with useless crap. the devs know whats up, let them work. thanks.
