Hi, guys, nice to meet you!
I wanna tell you first that i really appreciate this emulator since it provides a beautiful performance...

But now there is the problem. Sometimes Mario Kart stutters, especially when i use fraps to register to upload to youtube then....

Which components should I improve?

This is my video card:

What are your graphical settings? Which Mario Kart are you playing (Double Dash, Wii, GP 2)? What's the exact model of your CPU? Saying you have an i7 2 3.4GHz is not enough info. You can use CPU-Z to find out your model (e.g. mine if a 2500K).

Unless your graphical settings are too high, then it's most likely an issue with the CPU, especially if you start adding more players for multiplayer. Having the framerate drop when using FRAPs or any recording software is expected though.

yeah we cant tell you specifcally without knowing more about your cpu. but im guessing its a cpu bottleneck unless ur Cranking up the graphical settings way high. (Try NO AA and have a lower resolution like 1.5x).

and yes fraps is cpu heavy so when ur trying to play Dolphin and Record with fraps ur basically making it double hard on the cpu.

I'm playing Mario Kart Wii. Now i'm using a 2.0x without any antialias or something like that. And i noticed (unfortunately) that a little speed issue appears when i play multiplayer NOT online. This is my CPU [Image: immaginepbl.png]
Alternatively, which recording program could i use to not spend too much RAM on it?
And however, thank you so much Smile

Try dxtory, I've heard it positively mentioned a couple of times around here. Just keep in mind like Venomx1 said, Dolphin can be a very CPU intensive program, as can many screen recorders. In my experience with FFMPEG (yeah it can be used for screen capture :p) the less you record/the lower your resolution, the better your performance will be when using both Dolphin and a screen recorder. Most YouTube videos don't need to be in 1080p, even before you upload.
