Anybody noticing bad performance in Dolphin when Spectre/Meltdown mitigations are enabled?

My CPU is a Core i7-7700k and the GPU an RTX 3080. Running Windows 10 Insider Preview 21370 and NVIDIA preview driver 470.25

Tried with The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Was slow with audio stuttering like mad with mitigations on, smooth with them off.

We definitely lost performance due to it, probably 20% slower in some cases.

Is there something unique about how the emulation works in Dolphin that hits the Spectre mitigations so much?

Same PC can play Cemu just fine and that of course is several times the computing power, more so with 60fps mods.

Sorry in advance if I'm not familiar with the internals of these emulators.
