I have three portable installation folders so I can separate the user/load/textures folders between them, annoying to manage between GC/Wii textures packs manually
one for GC, one for Wii and one backup which is both together, nothing fancy.
I was wondering why one of them will never auto-update while the other two do update.
I tried syncing everything BUT the User folders between all of them, it "updates" and works but then the next automatic update will not work, it just says "You are running the latest version available on this update track" while the other 2 updates.
right now, I'm having to use the zip file from Dev mode every time to .. update it but it's annoying.
how does Dolphin know that it's on Dev or Beta update track if it's set in portable mode? my guess is it was locked in the registry if I ever loaded it without the portable.txt file.
doesn't matter which files I put in there
how do/would I switch in registry or delete which update track that Dolphin install is on manually since even the new files don't seem to do it?
I kinda wish it was an option in the configuration to be honest (to switch update tracks) even if I'm probably the only person with this issue.
